Explaining US-Iran Relations to Kids

This week’s new Dustinland comic is about how difficult it would be to explain a war with Iran to children. Working on this comic made me realize that 99 out of 100 Americans is most likely not aware of the history between the US and Iran beyond the last 10-20 years — maybe 30 if we’re talking about some folks a bit older who remember Jimmy Carter and hostages. But that is par for the course — we’ve got lots of people with virulent opinions yet no knowledge. Good times!
