Keep it Real

If you didn’t scroll all the way down, past the comic, you didn’t get the joke in this week’s Dustinland. And if this is the case, I’ll give you a second to go back and check it out without spoiling it.

Okay, so now that you’ve seen the entire comic, I can tell you that all of that stuff is real, except for the very last row at the bottom, which clearly I made up. Pretty amazing, huh?

Anyway, I sure do hope I get a lot of Wykops for this post, or maybe even a few Yardbarks.

  1. The Shouts and Murmurs section of this week’s New Yorker is basically about the same topic. I think a lot of the stuff in the article is made up, but maybe not, which scares me, and makes me feel way too old way too soon.

  2. I wonder if this week’s Dustinland was inspired by Miley Cyrus’ earth-shattering decision to leave Twitter. It caused us all to pause and rethink social media.

ShitMyDadSays is totally my favorite Twitterer, or is the correct term Twat?

Poor Fox didn’t get dissed this week — which, ironically, is the greatest diss of all.

  3. Oh wow. I totally missed the bottom part. Well played.

  4. Are the social media links shaped like someone flippin’ the bird?

  5. Jesus, Man, Miley Cyrus’ earth-shattering decision to leave Twitter didn’t just cause me to pause and rethink social media. It caused me to pause and rethink my entire goddamn life.

  6. I actually tried to click on “Link Ninja.” I got excited.

  7. Okay, I admit I missed the joke at first. Those social media links are so prevalent they eventually turn invisible.

  8. Well Gabby, you are in luck because Link Ninja is real. Or at least it was at some point. The only ones I made up are on the bottom row.

  9. Links don’t work. Repost with working links please.
